We committed to bootstrapping SCELTA's growth so our team could have the power of choice over what we build, how we build it, and what we do next.

 

In our first two years, we onboarded over 1,200 contractors to custom field management software, powered over $700 million in developments with pre-construction marketing tools, and launched 12 construction brands. 

Our journey has been unique. We had the power to choose how we experiment, build new things, scrap ideas, and always move with speed.

SiteKick™ would not exist without the all of the hard learned lessons, the failures, the challenges, and the hills climbed (literally) along the way.

SCELTA was born from the frustrations CEO David Mill experienced as a project coordinator handling client selections on multi-unit construction projects and his Nonna experienced moving into a new build ranch.

He was frustrated with the manual processes in project coordination through spreadsheets and emails. Nonna was brought to tears from the pressure of choosing selections for her home when she couldn't envision what they would look like at scale. 

When he brought his Nonna's home selections to life in the first SCELTA Configurator (now a legacy product), she said he had given her, "il potere de scelta", which means, "the power of choice", in Italian.

 

That was the moment that SCELTA was born.
